Year 4 - Portals to the Past - Egyptian Workshop

On Wednesday 15th December, we will be welcoming Portals to the Past in to school to work with us in Year 4 as part of our Ancient Egyptians topic.
Our pupils will participate in activities throughout the day as they learn about what happens following the death of a mighty Pharaoh, including tomb building, the mummification process, burial ceremonies and, finally, the crowning of the new Pharaoh.
They will be encouraged to join in drama opportunities, including the use of artefacts and props. This will be a wonderful way to celebrate and reflect on our term’s learning.
The cost of the workshop will be £7 per pupil and this has been added to ParentPay. Many thanks to those of you who have made this payment already. We appreciate your contributions so that the workshop is able to go ahead.
